Someone forwarded a link to me today about Micropolix, a theme park in Spain I think, that, in their words, gives kids a taste of real life through ‘kiddie capitalism’. Although I think they are on the right track, as are most of the ventures like this, I didn’t see any aspect of this theme park that encouraged entrepreneurship in the kids.
I wonder if any of the kids had their own ideas and came up with interesting strategies on how to get the ‘money’ by doing their own thing. We have to begin to foster this in kids because otherwise we’ll continue ending up with societies that think that they have to “get a job” to survive.
Why not teach them to “make a job’ instead? Anyway, you’ll enjoy…
